The October Open was won by Gary Duff of Comber Rifle Club. The final was extremely close with only eight points separating first place from seventh. This was continued throughout the final, shot by shot with no competitor able to make gains on their next nearest rival until the last shot when Ray Reilly of Rathdrum; who entered the final in third place, levelled with Ryan Mills of Comber on a score of 691.9. There followed a shoot-off and Ryan threw down the gauntlet with an excellent 10.6 only for Ray to pip him seconds later with a 10.7.
An enjoyable day was had by all and the event was followed by the NTSA AGM which was well attended. Our thanks to all competitors.
