The Leinster Indoor Championship was won by Siobhan Scarlett of DURC. Siobhan led the final from start to finish and was followed by Kealan Symes of Rathdrum in 2nd place and Liam Kinsella of Dublin Rifle Club in 3rd. Liam had trailed Val Pierce of East Coast Shooting Club in 4th place until the first elimination round when he scored 20.7 to take third by 0.4 points. Thanks to all who participated on the day and the previous detail on Thursday evening.

The next competition is the DURC Indoor Open in two weeks time.

The DURC Indoor Open was won by Conor McDermottroe of DURC. Conor led the final from start to finish, although he shared the lead with Peter Daynes of Rathdrum after the first series. Kealan Symes of Rathdrum finished in 2nd place and Val Pierce of Fingal finished in 3rd. The battle for second and third place went on for almost the entirety of the final with Peter Daynes eventually dropping out of the top three.

The next competition is the annual Turkey shoot, date to be announced.

Having spent a great deal of time on the ongoing work to get the range up to standard for certification, it was good to be back running competitions again. Unfortunately we had some problems with the targets (which will be permanently rectified shortly) but were able to jerry-rig a solution on the day to keep things going. Unfortunately Ray Kane was particularly affected and he had to end his detail prematurely. Conor McDermottroe won the match with a start to finish lead in the final leaving Siobhan Scarlett, Stephen Murphy and Ciara Deevy to fight it out for second and third place. Siobhan eventually persevered over Ciara with some solid scores and finished second with Ciara seeing off the challenge from Stephen to finish third.

Now that the website is back after a particularly bad attack from hackers, we will be able to take bookings in the normal way again and also provide our competition calendar. So there's no excuse for missing out on the fun. The full results are below.
