Richard's record combined score of 693.6 beat the previous record (also set by Richard) of 693.2 set in the 2009 National Indoor Championships and his final score of 105.6 beat the previous record of 103.8 set by Ray Reilly in the 2008 National Indoor Championships. The final was very high scoring with high 10's in abundance and the only other change in the finishing order was Stephen Hogan of Midlands in his first final overtaking Mike Dunne of Trinity to take 6th place.
